I really like this fan and would definitely buy again. It moves a lot of air for a small fan. The clip is designed so that you can hang the fan from a nail or clip it onto something.

This fan was purchased for our son who is stationed with the Army in Kuwait. I was unable , for reasons I don't understand, to have it sent to an APO address. When our son got it and plugged it in it sent off sparks and started smoking. He plugged it in to outlet that he uses all the time for his lap top computer and other appliances. Guess I should have tried it before I paid the postage to send it to him.

It's a fan and it oscillates and it clips on. That's it. I doesn't have the flexibility to be maneuvered in various angles to be more directional. It is lacking the ability to hang upside down and be directed. It was to replace one I have and after much looking I thought it fit the need but it didn't. I probably should have sent it back but in the heat of this summer, some air flow was better than none.
