The info on the site says "Side to side oscillation". It DOES NOT have that feature.Also, the fan has to be right next to you in order to feel anything. I gave it two stars because it is a fan and it does blow (air).

Was looking for something for my work space- PERFECT- not noisy, one clipped to shelf and the other one sits on my desk - when i need new ones- ill be back for this 4sure!
