Fan moves air well for it's size and the clip has pretty good strength. It works best if you clip it to something around an inch thick. If it's to thin the clip doesn't have enough purchase area to hold it still against it's weight. The only thing I'd change is to improve the mouth of the clip to give it a better purchase on thinner surfaces.

I ordered this fan to put in my kitchen window and it works great. I am very pleased with this fan. I was really impressed with how fast I got it, I ordered it on June 13 in the evening and it was delivered to my door June 15 late afternoon. The only thing I can say is the high could be a little stronger.

Needed a clip-on fan and had some Amazon points to burn. After checking into a few reviews, I went with this unit right here... and I must say, I never thought that it would actually EXCEED my expectations for a cheap clip-on fan... and yet, it did!This unit is simple and no-frills. Has a 'high' and a 'low' setting, and can be clipped / pointed just about in any direction. Also, the clip is VERY strong. Also, it moves air REALLY really well.The most impressive thing about this fan though is how quiet it is. It's so quiet on the 'low' setting that it blends into the background noise of my house. In fact, if anything, I think the hum of my fridge is almost louder. On the 'high' setting, though you can definitely hear the fan by that point, it's still easy to ignore. I've never had such a quiet fan of this size before. Planning to buy a couple more for when summertime hits here in NC.
