I bought this fan mainly for background noise in my daughter's room while she sleeps. It isn't extremely noisy, but does a good job of cooling the room. I think the price is decent for what you get. You do have to assemble it yourself.

This fan is easy to assemble, and works well. It's fairly quiet. It's almost entirely plastic, for better or worse. Because of that plastic construction, it feels very flimsy, but I think it probably could take a fall better than a metal fan.Requires assembly, but it should take less than ten minutes and doesn't need any tools.

This terrific fan puts out a reasonable amount of wind, is light to move around and reasonably priced in comparison to the other fans available.
