Honestly, I spent way too much time trying to find a fan for our family tent camping adventures. After reading dozens of reviews, I went for the O2 model.In short, THIS. FAN. ROCKS.Uber-quiet, it is perfect for our family. I wanted a decent-size to fan an 8-person tent (2 adults / 2 kids and 1 dog) and this fan does the job. But what separates it from the other fans is just how quiet it is.. If you're finding yourself in the same predicament as I was, look no further. This O2 fan will work perfectly...

I was one of the lucky people without electricity for over two weeks after Hurricane Ike hit Houston. This fan was the only thing that made things bearable. I went through a lot of batteries but it was worth every penny. I now have two of these; one I keep in my car during the summer, just in case I have car trouble and have to wait in the heat for help to arrive.Three days ago, we had a huge storm. The power was out for hours after the storm blew threw. I took my fan down to the pool area where people were trying to get cool. Needless to say, I was very popular.

This is an excellent fan to take camping. I used it this past weekend at Bonnaroo in Manchester, TN and it cooled down our tent to a comfortable sleeping temperature in 80 degree heat. It lasted all weekend on batteries.
