Overall like the fan, like the title says its good and was a good price, but it could be more silent, it's not that it's loud or anything, it's not loud, but just would like it if it were closer to silent.

Pros: Quiet, Energy Efficient, LightweightCons: Non-adjustable casing position, stopped workingThis fan worked well for about 3 weeks. I used it daily for about 8 hours a day on it's highest setting. It was quite and sufficient for extra airflow in a small room. After the 3rd week, it began to grow louder and started squeaking and whirring when it was on. I checked to make sure it wasn't blocked from spinning correctly, and found no signs of clogging. It grew worse until one day it didn't work at all. The motor still made a quiet humming noise to indicate it was still receiving power, but the blades made no motion at all. Unfortunately, I was in the middle of preparing to move and couldn't afford the time, space, or inconvenience of keeping it and trying to claim the manufacturer's warranty. I've bought cheap Honeywell fans in the past that have worked just as well and they normally last with a year or more of heavy use. I will be going back to them.
