I own both a Vornado and this Seabreeze. The Seabreeze appears to move more air and have lower noise. Neither unit is truly "Whisper Quiet", but the Seabreeze appears to do a better job.

This is an exact duplicate of the fans I bought from Toastmaster years ago called "Aero Stream". They were so good I bought four. I still have three. They are quiet, move more air, and consume less energy than any I have ever had. Like Vornado fans, (my other favorite), the airstream is compacted and travels a great distance without spreading out. In Florida fans get a lot of use and these have had plenty.

This little fan really blows! :) A unique design focuses the air column without letting it spread out too much, so what you get is a very windy "tube" of air, enough to make your ears roar from more than 10 ft away. I bought this fan for a very specific purpose, photography, and it packs plenty of punch to get a models hair moving without needing to be right up on the subject. I usually put it on the floor about 8 feet away or so and it does the trick just fine, on the medium setting. From 20 ft, I had the vertical blinds fluttering wildly about. It is also very quiet and and energy efficient, so thats a nice plus. I highly recommend this fan if you need to move a lot of air and don't want to pay over $1000.00 for a wind machine, or just want to cool yourself on a hot day and don't need anything oscillating. I am totally happy with it.
