Got the black one and this is a cheap knockoff of the handy cooler. I was hoping to save some money but ended up making a big mistake. The air that comes out REALLY stinks. It's made of cheap plastic. The sponge doesn't even match up in size and shape so the air doesn't fully go through the sponge. The air ends up being just as warm as the surrounding. It's a poorly implemented knockoff.It does NOT cool at all.Think twice before buying this. I rarely buy online and this is the reason -> you end up getting fake stuff!

I wanted to get the handy cooler that everyone was raving about in the reviews, however that one was out of stock for quite a while so I decided to get this one which looked just like it. After receiving it I can certainly say that it looks exactly the same design-wise as the handy cooler. It's a sponge and a fan, nothing amazing. I live on the west coast, which isn't too humid, and I'd say that the air blowing out is about 10 degrees cooler than the ambient air.The fan has a dial to adjust the speed, but really doesn't make much of a difference, It's really loud regardless. I haven't tried using the batteries yet, I've been only powering it by the USB cord that comes with it. It normally takes 4 AA batteries to power.Also it kind of stinks from the plastic smell that is blowing out.Definitely not worth the money. I'd say this should be around 10-20 dollars. Not $40.

i like this one came with the usb cable with the kit and i didn't have to buy it..little extra saved ..always nice..it's great on the patio, working or whatever it keeps the temp down..goodnportable.
